Looking for a little peace and happiness in life? Peaceful Soul is here to help.

Modern life and society have changed. Human beings are not designed to cope with the way life has evolved. The always on and always connected culture has led to a rise in mental, physical and relationship wellbeing issues. Our lives and relationships have become disjointed and lost meaning. The society that we are born into and way of life that is thrust upon us can be a ruthless and shallow place. The areas on this site bring focus to practices that when followed bring real meaning to our lives and peace to ourselves and the world around us.

Peaceful Soul started in 2018 as a single page website looking to bring health, happiness and peace to the lives of those who stumbled across it. It grew to look at fundamentals to help across 3 key areas of our lives; our mind, our body and love (our relationships with others and ourselves). 

Fast forward to 2022 and Peaceful Soul has over 50 guides to help across those 3 key areas. The Wellbeing 5 Project interviews started in 2020 and to date, over 50 wellbeing experts, thought leaders and advocates have provided insights into what can help our wellbeing. The resources section contain over 150 books and websites recommended through the fundamentals, guides and The Wellbeing 5 Project interviews.

The guides, fundamentals and interviews are designed to provide simple tips and practical steps that can be put into action in order to increase levels of wellbeing. In each of the guides and fundamentals there are links to a plethora of other resources to help (see the “further exploration” section).

 

Peaceful Soul Editor - Phil Aylward

Phil Aylward is the founder and editor of Peaceful Soul. He is a therapist and meditation teacher based in Brighton on the South Coast of the UK.

Peaceful Soul came to life as a way to distribute knowledge and key messages out to people. Through training and vast amounts of research, the PS site was born and is an ever growing resource for those in need of a little help and a little inner peace.

Peaceful Soul is split into 3 areas. Two of them (mind & body) concentrate on us as an individual. The third (love) looks at the relationships that we have with ourselves and others. Between the 3, we have a view of the areas that bring the greatest meaning to our lives.
